A stay in Villars is not complete without multiple visits to Cookie. This time around the menu had changed and half of the items were new. I tried the wokked duck and it was absolutely delicious. My companions had the Thai chicken (an old favorite) and it was as good as ever. A non-traditional banofi pie finished a great meal off. For wine we had an excellent Australian Merlot. What I like about the place is that the fusion menu is original and is different from the standard mountain fare. Only fresh ingredients are used. The owner David Jewell and the excellent staff always make you feel welcome and last night was no exception. This is a high quality place and David and his team deserve their success. Note: better make a reservation as the restaurant is always full.
