Wir haben hier ein paar schöne Tage verlebt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Wir waren hier mit unserem 2 Jährigen Sohn und haben uns immer super rundum gut betreut gefühlt.
Es ist eine ruhige und sehr angenehme Hotelanlage mit einem hervorragenden Kids Club und Nanny Service.
Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder kommen!
Wer Ruhe und Erholung im Kreise der Familie sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben.
Nachteil sind hier nur die überteuerte Weinkarte.
Bier geht bei 9 USD los.
Wasser beim Dinner mit 12 USD auch etwas zu teuer!
Ansonsten viel Restaurant Abwechslung !
Es wird einem hier auch nicht langweilig, da jeder Tag ein andere schöner Tag ist!

Niyama Private Islands Maldives is a true paradise and the warmth hospitality of the team makes it stands out amongst our competitor. Also, Explorers Kids Club is a great addition to the resort and is really a haven for the family especially for the kids.
As far as food and beverages prices are concerned we always endeavor to keep these in line with our competitive set in the Maldives as to not out price ourselves in a very competitive luxury marketplace. Meine Frau und ich waren in den vergangenen zehn Jahren zu Urlaubszeiten viel unterwegs um die Welt. Nun waren die Malediven dran und weil wir nicht mehr nur zu Zweit sondern zu Viert (Sohn 8 Monate, Tochter 3 Jahre) sind haben wir nach einem Familienhotel gesucht und das Niyama für uns gefunden.
Die Anlage, welche 2012 zunächst aus der Insel „Chill“ bestand und „Honeymoonern“ gewidmet schien, wurde ein paar Jahre später mit der Nachbarinsel „Play“ über eine kleine Brücke verbunden. Die zweite Insel wurde zwecks Anreizen für Familien bebaut.
Beide Inseln lassen eine gepflegte Fauna und Flora erleben, die man mit Beach Bikes vom westlichsten Punkt bis zum östlichsten Punkt (ca. 2km Entfernung) erkunden kann. Es sind auch Golf Buggys zu jeder Zeit zur Verfügung.
Wir haben eine Family Beach Pool Villa bewohnt und das Interieur sowie den schönen Pool jeden Tag sehr genossen.
Die Restaurants sind auf den beiden Inseln gut verteilt und sorgen ihrerseits für große Abwechslung.
Kulinarisch und vom Design sind eigentlich alle Restaurants auf einem hohen Level mit feiner internationaler Küche ausgestattet. Man kann sagen, dass Speisen und Getränke einen wirklich gehobenen Preis haben, aber sie sind wahrlich ein Gedicht für den Gaumen! Vielen Dank an Micky, Rijje und Denham vom Edge und Subsix, Feruza, Teddy und Rafu vom Epicure!
Durch die fabelhafte Unterstützung mittels eines toll ausgestatteten Kids Club und dem stets harmonischen und äußerst professionellen Personal uns gegenüber, fiel es uns leichter, dem Wertvollsten was wir haben, unsere Kinder, für ein paar Stunden am Tag in betreuende kompetente Hände zu geben. Meine Frau und ich waren dadurch nicht selten in der Lage abends für uns ganz allein zu sein und diese Zeit so toll zu genießen! Vielen Dank Olivia und Sarah dafür!
Aber auch am Tag wird es nie langweilig, wenn man das nicht sogar gezielt möchte: Wassersport-Aktivitäten, wie Fly Board, Parasailing, Tauch- und Schnorchelgänge, Surfen oder auf einem alten Dhoni (traditionelles Transportboot) dem Sonnenuntergang entgegenfahren, um nur einige zu nennen, waren tolle Erlebnisse! Vielen Dank an Orage und Dirk, Mark und Sam! Es war einfach großartig.
Ein privates Lobster Dinner (Danke dir Reema!) auf einsamer Insel wurde speziell nach meinen Wünschen und zur großen Überraschung (;-D) meiner Frau von unserem Thakuru Hasir organisiert. Er war die großartigste Unterstützung für uns als anspruchsvolle Gäste auch dann, als wir wegen Renovierungslärms nebenan umziehen mussten. Wir hoffen auf eine Beförderung für dich und ein baldiges Wiedersehen!
In diesem Zusammenhang danken wir auch Rebecca und Siva vom Management. Ein jeder zeigt, dass der Beruf mit Liebe ausgeübt wird! So schätzen wir das!

My wife and i travelled a lot around the world in last ten years when having holidays. Now it was time for the Maledives and because we were no longer the two of us but a party of four (8month old boy, 3y old daughter) we searched for a familyhotel and found the Niyama for us.
The complex that was established in 2012 on the island „Chill“ and seemed to be dedicated to „Honeymooners“, was extended and connected to the island „Play“ a few years later and built up to attract familys too.
Both islands offer an adorable fauna and flora to experience, and to be discovered with beach bikes from the most western point to the most eastern point (approx. 2km distance). There‘s golf buggys available at all times too.
We occupied a family beach pool villa and enjoyed the Interior and the Pool outside every day very much. The restaurants are well distributed over the two islands and offer a big variety towards each other.
In terms of culinary and design actually all restaurants are performing international cuisine on highest level.
Prices for lunch and dinner as well as beverages are on a high level, but food and drinks are truly a poem for the tongue! Special thanks goes to Micky, Rijje und Denham from Edge and Subsix, Feruza, Teddy and Rafu from Epicure!
The fabulous assistance via a very well equipped kids club and the always harmonious and highly professional acting staff made it easier for us to give the most valuable, our kids, for a few hours daily into the caring competent hands of Olivia and Sarah. Thank you so much! You made it possible that my wife and I enjoyed a few hours on our own the day round.
The day gets never boring if you aren’t looking for that intentionally: Watersportactivities, such as Flyboard, Parasailing, Diving- and Snorklingtrips, Surfing or being on an old Dhoni (traditional boat for transportation) towards the sunset, just to mention a few, were really wonderful experiences.

A private lobster dinner (Thank you Reema!) on a lonely island has been organized on my special wish and as a big surprise (;-D) for my wife by Hasir, our Thakuru.
He was our greatest support! As we are demanding clients, Hasir changed our room due to construction noise nearby and he made a surprise for us! We hope for a promotion for you and looking forward seeing you again!

Fast alles perfekt, aber der künstliche Orangensaft geht überhaupt nicht auf diesen Level. Wir hätten 10 mal mehr Cocktails getrunken aber sie waren zu stark und zu süß. Ich würde das nächste mal ein Haus am Strand nehmen.
Da ich nicht der große Freund von Ansammlungen vieler Menschen, egal ob Strand, Pool oder vollgepackten Restaurants etc. bin, hatte ich bei der Wahl des Malediven Resorts Bedenken auf einer so großen Insel (eigentlich sind es zwei mit verbundener Brücke) und so vielen Villas einen Urlaub zu verbringen. Ich habe mich aber letztlich doch dafür entschieden, da ich „GHA Discovery Black“ bin und gehofft, dass das Resort dies auch honoriert. Alle Zweifel und Bedenken haben sich in Luft aufgelöst. Ich kann diese Insel (ausschließlich Englisch gesprochen) empfehlen. Man findet zahlreiche Orte allein zu sein und auch genügend Möglichkeiten soziale Kontakte zu knüpfen. – wer es braucht. Man bekommen einen persönlichen Thakuru - einen maledivischen Butler-Service – mit dem mach lässig per WhatsApp chatten kann und der alles organisiert. Der komplette Service, Reinigungspersonal, Restaurants, Handwerker – einfach ALLE sind steht’s freundlich, wünschen andauernd eine/n gute/n <greeting time> und fragen wie es geht, wie der Aufenthalt bisher ist. Da kann es schon vorkommen, wenn du aus deiner Villa zum Frühstück willst, das 5x gefragt wirst und beim Frühstück selbst hast du dann auch noch einmal die Kommunikation mit jedem vom Service. Amerikaner mögen so etwas oberflächliches ja bekanntlich - ist ja auch alles recht gut gemeint, aber für meine Empfindungen doch etwas too much. Wie auch immer: Niyama kann ich nur empfehlen, es wird keinen Reinfall. Die Insel gepflegt, sauber, alles funktioniert und wird von Hafidh Busaidy top gemanagt.

I am not a big fan of crowds of people, whether beach, pool or packed restaurants etc., I was a little concerned about choosing a Maldives resort on such a large island (actually there are two with a connected bridge) and so many guest villas to spend a vacation. In the end, I chose it because I am “GHA Discovery Black” and hoped that the resort management would honor it. All doubts and concerns have evaporated. I can recommend this (English spoken only) island . You will find numerous places to be alone and also enough opportunities to socialize. - who needs it. You get a personal Thakuru - a Maldivian butler service - with which you can chat easily via WhatsApp and who organizes everything. The complete service, cleaning staff, restaurants, craftsmen - simply ALL are friendly, wish you continuously a good <greeting time> and ask how are you, how is your stay. It can happen if you want to leave your villa for breakfast, which is asked 5 times and at breakfast you have communication with everyone from the service. As is well known, Americans like something superficial - everything is meant very well, but a bit too much for my feelings. Anyway: I can only recommend Niyama, it won't be a letdown. The island is well-kept, clean, everything works and is well managed by Hafidh Busaidy.
