This is absolutely wonderful hotel! At the reception, Miss Anjali and Mister Nizamuddin arranged for us the most warm welcome! They provided best service ever! Overall hotel is very good, bathroom absolutely brand new, beds are very comfortable. Furniture is very beautiful. It looks like hotel has been renovated recently. Definitely I will come back. Thank you once again Anjali and Nizamuddin! You guys are really best!

I have styed many times in this hotel, solely for sleeping as their prices are low, however on Saturday 4th January I experienced the worst customer service. 2 days before on Thursday I called and booked 2 rooms for the weekend and received a confirmation number. Until here all good. Upon our arrival on Saturday 4th for check in we were received by Anjali, the receptionist, who asked first for my booking name and then for the confirmation number to confirm. Once confirmed she just looked st me with a smile in her face and said that the only 2 rooms a available had AC issues and hotel was folly booked. There were no rooms for us. No apologies offered, not even attempted to find a solution or call a manager. I personally had to find a way to contact the GM for someone else to show up and "showcase" that they were trying to find us our rooms. Keep in mind, we never received any messages or call from the hotel to inform us of no rooms availability. Now the city is full, we cannot find any rooms anywhere and I am pissed to say the least!!! Writinc this from the hotel lobby wherr we are still Waiting for them to find us any solution!…

FORTIS is located in such a way that there are many restaurants,cafeterias nearby and the corniche is just behind.Every thing required is just 4 to 5kms away(banks,clinics etc.)A huge public parling is available behind the hotel.We went on the very last days of December 2022 and so the reception was crowded and it took us ages to get into our room though we had booked earlier.Ours was a Studio room and it was surprisingly large with Dining table for 2,pantry,AC,mini fridge,locker (the password was not reset),bathroom accessories like the towel was unclean,and they provide many accessories like Lotion,soap,dental kits,combs etc.We had opted for the Room with sea view so it was really pleasant. The swimming pool was freezing cold(no temperature control i suppose).So we couldn't enjoy it at all.They have a gym,sauna,a spa with affordable rate,varieties of restaurants and night clubs. The buffet brekfast was good(except for some pastries).There are only few items for breakfast but those items tasted good.The service and behavior of the restaurant staff was also upto the mark. OVERALL LIKED: Location, Large Room,Brekfast,Restaurant staff service DISLIKED: Swimming pool,cleanliness,vibe at the hotel.…

1. Starting from checkin it took us ages and the guy who was with us said that we booked 2 rooms for 2 persons…i was like whaaat? so 2 of our partners are just our guest? The guy kept on insisting that the rooms we booked is for 2 pax only meaning 1 person per room even my friend showed his confirmation. Where in this world a 4pax will book a rooms for 2 only???? Then the other guy end up saying okay and there was a problem in their system. 2. Next is the beddings, when my partner is about to rest and open the duvet we found marks in the bed so i told them to change and they did but only the flat sheet even i told them to change everything. 3. Our friends who stayed next to our room immediately complained that the room smells cigar so the hotel staff send someone to spray something to subside the smell. Little did i know that our room will smell the same later that night.The night is getting deep and the cigarette smell is getting strong so we end up ignoring it since we were so tired. 4. The music from the bar is banging the room it is sooo annoying we couldn’t sleep. The music stop i guess at 4am and the strong cigarette smell is there and even more than earlier that night. 5. Next is the air condition at 2:30am we called and complained that AC is not cooling so they send someone to fix it and yes i felt cooling a little at 30 degrees then i keep observing if the room temperature will change and yet nothing has changed. We fell asleep for 30mins and woke up co’z of the room temp. We were up since then even tired and sleepy until 6am so i called them again and same story until the checkout. WE STAYED IN THAT HOTEL ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS LATE TO DRIVE BACK TO ABU DHABI WE THOUGHT WE WILL HAVE AT LEAST A GOOD SLEEP AND REST BUT IT WAS A HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE AND THAT IS THE FIRST EVER WORST OF THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVE HAD IN THIS LIFE. DUE TO EMERGENCIES WE SOMETIMES BOOK A CHEAP HOTEL TO REST BUT THIS ONE HORRIBLE WORST THAN A 1 STAR HOTEL. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A GOOD AND PEACEFUL STAY THERE I SWEAR! I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.…

Room smells cigarette smoke even if its non-smoking. Terrible! AC isnt working smoothly. Temperature cant be adjusted. My friends stayed next room and their AC stop working middle of the night.! Tissue paper is not replaced from the last guest. Staff cannot speak basic English well. Towels are very old and not cleaned enough for next guest. Linens are with stains. You can also hear staff noises outside the room in the morning and the the loud sound from the bar at night. Lastly, takes too much time for check in. New staff is insisting we booked 2 rooms for 2 person when we booked 2 person per room. They should educate their staff with the hotel basics!
