Service was so so and the sandwich was not worth the price, or the time. Hardly any meat, under cooked bacon, omitted the honey mustard. We won’t be back.

Stopped in here for a sandwich at 1:15 pm. Two people looked like they were waiting for an order. We stood at the counter for 8 min without being recognized while an employee continued to slice tomatoes with her back to the counter. We tried to get her attention several times, but were completely ignored. Finally left and went elsewhere for lunch.

My wife and I found this place by accident on our drive back from North Carolina. What a great find it was! A beautiful modern market that sold beer, wine, coffee, sandwiches, salsas, honey, etc. Lots of local products and not your chain variety.
My wife and I had a couple of healthy turkey sandwiches on whole wheat bread. The bread was fresh and the turkey was sliced in front of us. A very nice selection of deli sandwiches that they created or you can build your own. We bought tortilla chips and they were addictive. The cold drink and the salt from the chips was fantastic.
Prices were very reasonable and the staff was welcoming. Plenty of parking in their huge parking lot. There were food trucks in their parking lot if sandwiches are not what you want. Don't go to Subway, which is at every exit. This place is worth the stop if you're driving through.

All 5 of our subs were to have bacon… realized later when we were discussing that the subs didn’t have much flavor that NONE of them had the bacon!! Were mostly lettuce😠. Will not get sub from there again

Stopped to see why all the car were there. And it was lunch time. And seemed to be in the middle of nowhere! Noticed 4 food trucks outside, all closed on this sunny Dog Day of Summer Sunday. It's a coffee shop and a gift shop, what has a small sandwich bar. The gift shop had lots of local food products, like the Chesapeake Bay Crab Salsa I bought. My Italian Stallion Sandwich seemed good, and I am assuming no horses were harmed. they use mostly Boars Head products. Brenda up front was very helpful. Michael apparently need to write neater. so I heard.

Serve food thats cooked and not spoiled very bad experience. My husband and I stopped in on our way back from Harrisonburg I ordered egg salad I took one bite very bad spoiled thats the second time I got the egg salad sandwich it was bad previous very bad experience. My husband ordered a sub that had bacon the bacon was put on sandwich raw not cooked Very bad experience. A friend stopped in one day bought some items was bad had to put in trash very bad experience We are very disappointed I think it's shame have to serve spoiled food or uncooked food very bad experience.

I stopped here on a business trip in the area. It was highly recommended.
It is unique place. There are food trucks outside and a sandwich shop inside. There is also a small bar and coffee shop inside as well.
I opted for a sandwich. It was really good and fresh.
Staff was very friendly.
Will stop again to try the food trucks

So, this was my first visit to the Old School Burgers food truck.
This is located in a part of Virginia where COVID cases are rapidly increasing, hospitals are maxed out and citizens are DYING. On the rare occasion we have ventured out for take out (no indoor dining since March), I was looking forward to lunch from the food truck. Besides how bad the food was, the amazing thing was witnessing a majority of staff either wearing no mask or wearing a mask with their nose sticking out or hanging from their ear. Most customers (maybe 75%) seemed conscious of mask regulations as well as the proper technique for covering one’s face and nose. I did not go inside the ever-so-lovely building but I did watch and it is easy to distinguish staff from customer. The thing is, when you witness such disregard for something as simple as wearing a mask correctly, it makes one wonder if good sanitation happens where we can’t witness staff behavior. I have to suggest management seek training advice from our local health department.

Yesterday for lunch I stopped at the Valley Pike Farm Market. I'm a HUGE supporter of local restaurants & shops, especially in this Covid era, but sometimes I get the impression that those same restaurants and shops aren't as focused on their customers, as the customers are focused on the establishments. That was the case with Valley Pike Farm Market. Inside, the market is like out of a set from a Hallmark Christmas movie, complete with barn decor and holiday decorations. Very nice! However, the reason I stopped was for lunch. I ordered a Classic Pastrami on Sliced Rye at $9.29. In a word, the sandwich was "Disappointing." The sliced rye was very small, dry and a bit brittle, as if it was about 2 days old. The pastrami was piled high, but had just the slightest dab of deli mustard. The bread was soooo off the mark that it made the sandwich almost inedible. For essentially a $10 sandwich, I expect much greater attention to detail & quality, and it simply wasn't there!

Great choice for lunch convenient to I-81 exit 235, Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, and Blue Ridge Community College. Sells sandwiches, soup, hot dogs, chili, etc. -- often with food trucks in the parking lot as well. Rustic atmosphere. Can eat in as well as can buy honey, meat, sauces, etc. to go. Service fine but not as welcoming as expected.
