REALLY NICE EXPERIENCE FOR IT
Juli 2018
We all five in a group really enjoy the waterfall, cold water, nice view, swimming, dive in water can saw the stone sea, take the nice picture, freshing air. The guide is from the village, RM50/trip (1-6) person.
SAFETY OF WATERFALL CAN BE IMPROVED.THE WAY TO THE WATERFALL A BIT DANGEROUS. The safety line can be set up for deep area to avoid any accident.

A tiring yet memorable trip!
Okt. 2017
If you're fond of nature ventures, this is definitely a place for you! I could not recall if there were 23 or 26 waterfalls, but I only managed to hike up three (3) waterfalls during my day-trip here. Our guide and his son (our co-guide), who were locals to this area, were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. I gained a great deal of knowledge throughout my trip.

The Hidden Jewels

This place was amazing. Located about 1 hour from Lundu Town, you might need a good eyesight looking for the signboard of the village where this waterfall is situated. You need to park your car around the village compound which you need to pay, ours that time was roughly around RM10. My advice is you might need a tour guide, which is the villagers itself because they will tell you the do's and the dont's. Yes, this place had an amazing view but please, be careful as the rocks are slippery. There are a few death cases in this area so be extra careful and listen to your tour guide. It's really worth the long journey for the breathtaking views and fresh waterfall to dip in. Do come but again, be careful.

Spectacular Jangkar Waterfalls
Juli 2017 • Paare
Jangkar waterfalls are spectacular and it’s an easy walk to the first few falls. We visited on 25th July 2017.
The first problem is finding the falls – allow me to give you directions. Taking the road from Batu Kawa, turn left at the T-junction towards Sematan (not right to Lundu). After 4km, turn left, signposted Kampung Biawak. After a further 13km, you reach Kampung Jantan. Turn right at the Kedai Runcit, signposted “Welcome to Jangkar Waterfalls”. One km down the road you will find a bamboo office “Koperasi Jangkar Jantan”, where you register, meet your guide and pay the fee. We were charged RM 100 for a group of up to 10 persons but I reckon that locals pay much less. Then it’s a further 1km to the car park (another RM 5 for parking).
The walk to the first waterfall took us one hour at a very leisurely pace. The route starts in a fruit farm and then a rubber plantation before it changes to a rainforest track. It is a gentle uphill slope.
After the first falls, there is a short but steep climb (with ropes for assistance) to the top of the second waterfall. The highlight was a swim in natural infinity pool at the top of the second waterfall.
The route was not difficult but there are no signs so the guide is essential, at least for your first visit.

Waterfall adventure

During the second day of Raya we visited Jangkar Waterfall located at Kampung Jantan (the Road heading to Samatan). It takes us about 1.5hrs to reach the kampung from Batu Kawa. We hired a park ranger to guide us to the waterfalls. It took us about 1 hrs to reach the waterfalls. Most of the park ranger are local kids. They are very experience! The cost is Rm10 per if you come with a group of five people. If less than five people in a group you will need to pay Rm50. The track is easy to walk but still need to wear tracking shoes to avoid any injury.

Visited Kuching's Hidden Treasure: Jangkar Waterfall.

Located out near Kampung Jantan, Lundu Town, Malaysia.

An hour and a half drive out from Kuching followed by an easy hour hike through the forest to the refreshing, cleansing falls. Best to do with great company ;)

Remember to bring swimmers, a towel, spare clothes, a snack or two, drinking water and your camera.

Total of 23 stages of waterfall but we only managed to go until tier 2 (top of 1st fall, base of 2nd) . The hike took us around 2 hours to reach teir 1 (depends on the physical stamina). Difficulty of hike trail are average, a friendly tour guides, awesome view (esp at teir 2), you can bring food for picnic but please don't litter!
