Our sailing experience with AktivPont Tihany was absolutely unforgettable! On a hot July day, my husband and I set out on Lake Balaton for a refreshing afternoon of sailing and swimming. This was very special for us as it was my husband's first time sailing and his first visit to Hungary during our honeymoon.
Captain Adam was fantastic—fluent in both English and Hungarian, he effortlessly switched between languages and shared stories about the lake’s history and upcoming sail races. His enthusiasm for sailing was contagious and made us feel completely at ease.
The highlight of our day was a delightful lunch at a lakeside restaurant, Sport Terrace, where our orders were delivered by boat right to our sailing vessel—what a unique touch!
This was a perfect introduction to sailing for my husband, and we will definitely return for more adventures with AktivPont Tihany. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience! Köszönjük szépen ezt a csodálatos élményt!

Adam is very nice and really knowledgable about the lake. The ship was comfortable and clean. The views are beautiful and we had a great time!

If you want to sail on Lake Balaton, look no further! I cannot recommend Adam and the Aktiv Pont Sailing enough! We had a group of 5 adults, and the boat was extremely comfortable for us, not to mention very clean. Captain Adam was an absolute delight - very knowledgeable about the lake and Hungary - we learned so much but we also had a heck of a good time! We went to lunch in small boating town recommended by Adam - best lunch we had all trip! It was by far the best day of our vacation and I wish we had another full day of sailing with Adam - so I guess we will just have to come back some day! It was the perfect experience, beautiful boat, friendly captain. We will be talking about this day for a long time! Thank you Adam!

We had a great time as a family aboard Adam's sailboat. He made us discover the surroundings of Tihany and its history in a very friendly and truly relaxing way! We appreciated his flexibility, his easy contact and his kindness. The children were also delighted to be able to take a dip in the lake at Adam's suggestion. We would be ready to relive this activity without hesitation, especially since it is very simple and practical to park in front of the marina. In short, a pleasant outing guaranteed!

We had a wonderful sailing afternoon with Adam. Adam was kind and very knowledgeable about Hungarian and Balaton history. Just a train ride and day trip away from Budapest and well worth the trip. This was my second time sailing with this company and it won't be the last!

Our family looked for sailing experience on Balaton and with Adam we had a great time. Adam’s English is excellent he explained to us how to sail the boat He was great guide on local area, history, culture and language. We had also the possibility to sail the boat and take a break for swimming in the middle of the lake.

We sailed with friends around the Tihany peninsula. I am very glad that we chose Activ Pont Tihany, because this young, enthusiastic and competent team made the experience much better. Adam, the captain, told us a lot about the area and sailing on Lake Balaton, as well as the waterfront activities. You can see that he loves the lake, sailing and is very good with people. I heartily recommend to everyone! Go and try!

If you are thinking about sailing on Lake Balaton, choose "Aktív Pont Tihany"!
Adam - the skipper - is helpful, informative and clearly competent. During the trip he shared a lot of details about sailing and sailing rules, as well as about the water areas and depths of Lake Balaton, which was a lot of new information for a layman like myself. Besides relaxation and recreation, you can also have an extra experience: you can take control of the boat.:)
I can only recommend them!

Fantasztikus dolog vitorlázni a Tihanyi-félsziget körül, a táj gyönyörű, Ádám pedig remek idegenvezető és vitorláskapitány, nagyon sok érdekességet mesél a környékről. :) Szuper csapat, szuper programok! Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom, hogy próbálja ki az Aktív Pont Tihany szolgáltatásait!

It was a great day to go sailing. The sailboat was 34 foot, nice and roomy. Adam, the captain, spoke English well and catered to our every need. It was a great value and the highlight of our trip to lake Balaton.
