The bikes were easy to book online and the prices much more reasonable than other providers nearby and included free parking. A good explanation was given of both how to use the e-bikes and routes available. A short ride along the road soon took you to the off road trails and we enjoyed a full day riding, with the backup knowledge we had help only a call away if needed. The bike power easily lasted all day, even though we used turbo quite a bit when we tried the more adventurous hilly trails! Thank you to Andy who we met on the day, who set us off and welcomed us back so friendly, adding to the enjoyable experience.

Super kind and helpful (kindly waited although we were 30 minutes behind schedule), we had a great time exploring Dean forest thanks to Wyebikes and the equipment was top quality. Thank you so much!

We had a great day cycling around the Forest of Dean on some cube WyE-bikes. Andy showed us some routes to try and landmarks to spot. Also places to stop for refreshments etc. We had a couple of issues (puncture and slipping chain) but Steve was very responsive and quickly found us and sorted the problems so we could get on our way. It’s a friendly outfit with a personal touch. They obviously love what they do. I recommend Wye-bikes and if you’ve never tried an e-bike before it’ll be one of the most fun things you’ll ever try!

We had a fantastic day out in the Forest of Dean on the family trail. Steve was super helpful and made sure the bikes were just right for us all before we set off. We hired three e-bikes for two adults and a teenager and one normal bike for our 10 year old (who did well to keep up). Lovely trails to explore with good options for refreshments and loos along the way. We stopped for a nice cooling drink at the Cycle cafe in the Forest and again at the Woodman Pub on the way back who had a special cyclists entrance to bring your bikes inside.
Steve was there again to meet us at the end of the day and we had a lovely chat about where we’d been. Lovely friendly service. Highly recommend.

Second time hiring from Steve and couldn’t be happier. Wye-Bikes is very flexible when arranging collection and drop off, both were extremely quick and easy. Great quality kit, clearly well maintained and great value for money. Couldn't recommend Wye-Bikes enough, much better than the other bike hire services in and around Cannop Cycling Centre. Thanks for facilitating a great day Steve, even on the muddiest day of the year!

We arrived really late compared to booking time but were still given a great welcome, showed how the E-bikes worked and ran through the route to get where we wanted to go to. We forgot to bring a bag for the lock,etc but one was given to us which was very much appreciated. Would 100% hire from here again.

Many thanks to Steve & Andy for sorting out our e-bikes. We had an amazing day with them on and off the trails. The bikes were fantastic, comfortable and easy to ride. Andy gave us plenty of instruction and some top tips to ! Thank you again. We'll be back next time !

A really lovely day out with Wye Bikes - great location for bike hire, easy access to a family-friendly cycle route and lovely customer service. We had a brilliant day out!

We were met by Andy at 9.30am and he took great care to size up our bikes, equipment and abilities. He added lots of value by teaching us the principles behind E bikes, and also mountain biking techniques. The 6 of us (3 couples) had an absolutely amazing day - it took maybe 45 minutes to cycle down to the cycling centre in the Forest of Dean, from where we had incredible rides out along very well maintained and signposted mountain bike tracks of differing difficulty. We stuck to blue routes, which were more than challenging enough for relative beginners like us. There were whoops of exhileration coming from several in our party as we rode the ups, downs, twists and turns of the paths through the beautiful Forest of Dean. Arrived back just after 4pm after covering about 43km through the day, with a nice lunch stop at the cycling centre. Didn't make it to the Rising Sun pub this time - oh well, we will have to return! Highly recommended, especially on E Mountain Bikes - I'm fit, but you can choose your level of pain and had a good workout whilst those in our group who were less fit were able to use more assitance from the bike - it worked so well for all of us. Thanks again Andy, and Wye Bikes.
