Great trip. The river was very high and full of debris after lots of rain, but we felt very safe despite our relative inexperience. Shout out to Steve who guided us expertly and was really knowledgeable about the water and wildlife. Thanks

Excellent time on the River Wye today. Well run outfit, and a great service. Special thanks to Lloyd for helping us pull the canoe up, when we stopped for refreshments.( Non-alcoholic, of course!) 😉

Fabulous experience. We did the 9 miles from Kerne Bridge back to Symonds Yat. Weather was interesting but that did not dampen our enthusiasm. We were given instruction before we entered the water and we practiced steering before we set off. We enjoyed it so much we plan to go back again later in the year. The scenery and wildlife was beautiful

We went on the 4 day canoe adventure, starting at Hereford and finishing and the canoe centre in Symonds Yat.
It was a brilliant trip and so well organised. Unfortunately due to weather conditions and the river rising 3.5 meters overnight the trip was cut short 1 day early. However, Ian was in constant contact with us and came to collect us and the equipment. I'd have no hesitation using them again, and I'm actually looking to book again already next year

Thank you very much Wyedean. I was very scared to go in the water and you were amazing. Thank you for letting me try the boat before you charged my humans. I had the best 60 minute trip on the water with my humans and not even the swans could scare me even though they tried.

wonderful experience! we did the 9 hr trip which took us around 2 1/2 hrs effortlessly. great location, tranquil and delightful. staff were friendly and helpful, the minibus driver gave us a great introduction to the area. bit cheeky adding on £2.50 for the launch site fee, this should be included in the overall price! otherwise a great day out thank you. looking for lunch after, the pubs on the riverside are rather expensive so we went up the road to the New Inn Shortstanding which was delicious and more reasonably priced!

Thank you for your great review, The local launch charge is shown on our website, on your confirmation e-mail and also on a sign upon check-in, we cannot include the launch charge in our prices as it does not go to ourselves but to the company who runs the local parish launch site. They do however put 10% of the operating profits back into things like elderly care and upkeep of the village hall as well as the site maintenance so we see it as no bad thing. Thank you for your valued custom and we are pleased you enjoyed your experience.

Amazing 1/2 day on the Wye. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The river is magical, the scenery and wildlife just beautiful. Was one of the most serene and perfect 3 hours I have ever spent. Can't recommend it enough, your inner self will thank you for it.

Fab experience for a couple and small dog! Staff were so friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable. Such a fun morning. Our little dog was happy sitting in the middle of the canoe with a bit of wobbly pottering between us both without any catastrophes!
We completed the 9 mile course in 2 hours 15 mins after being slightly worried from other reviews that we would run out of time. For a reasonably(ish) fit couple in our late 20's, the pace was absolutely lovely. Just a nice continuous pace.
Recommend to anyone looking for some fun, exploration and some lovely photo opportunities too!

Perfect activity to take in the beauty of the Wye Valley. We picked the 3 hour trip from Kerne bridge to Symonds Yat and it was well organised, and a beautiful stretch of river to explore. The staff are friendly and helpful and made sure we felt safe and prepared. Would highly recommend.

This is really a beautiful day out - 4 hours on the River Wye a stunning experience. You have to accept that you might go in and one of our party did and the wonderful James came and saved them! Two bits of advice - it is hard work so make sure you have eaten before hand and wear gloves otherwise you might get blisters.

Hi, we will be staying at Bracelands campsite in our motorhome and would love to come family canoeing - How accessible is your site with a motorhome??

Our site is accessible to vehicles smaller than 6m in length. However when it is busy on weekends then It would not be wise to bring a large vehicle down the narrow roads.
