The cabins at the ranch were awesome. There were two separate rooms with queen beds and two baths. Unfortunately, most of the activities at the ranch were still shut down due to Covid 19. We still very much enjoyed ourselves. Played cards on the porch and watch an amazing moon rise. The only concern was the food options. There was only one place open to eat and we luckily got there in time to catch supper before it closed. This place was so cool that if we go back with will just take food and enjoy the cabin.

We had two rooms and both were fab! The staff were wonderful and quite accommodating with our needs.
Their multi-option choice breakfast (included in the room rate) is in a restaurant on-site in the charming western village - also with superb staff! We also ate lunch there with our canyon VIP pass, as that meal was included on the day pass ticket. We ate dinner on arrival (at our own cost) and they had fab BBQ ribs and chicken options. Live music with a fun and engaging guitarist. Free and ample parking lot. The shuttle drivers (as no vehicles allowed) between our canyon pass sites were all so friendly and helpful!
Cute shops, roping classes, zip lining (seasonal, of course), a night campfire with S’Mores (year round), and plenty of free photo op areas aside from the spectacular canyon and sunrise/sunsets!
The only issue was that in one of our cabins the sliding pocket door to the bathroom kept sliding open. Aside from that all was great!!
We can’t wait to return!

Sunrise and sunset views were excellent. You can view through the windows for the right timing for sunrise before going out of the house. The firecamp with bbq marshmallow was memorable. Saw some lovely hares too. The food and room were fair, quite a long queue for breakfast. Convenient to take a break overnight and go early for the other day's activities e.g. helicopter, cruise, etc. Overall, worth a stay! My family enjoyed it!

We arrived on the ranch on 1st of October 2019. The first surprise was that they asked us if we had bought the entry tickets for the Ranch (and for the two viewpoints of the Grand Canyon - incl. Skywalk) which is 55$ (additional 25$ for the Skywalk) per person. As I repeadetly askes if we have to pay this as well if we just stay at the Ranch they answered normally every visitor has to pay this fee but it‘s ok if we don‘t pay it (they understood that I was getting angry). They told us that it‘s not allowed to go outside of the ranch. So no walking to the rim of the Grand Canyon. You could only see the Canyon if you either pay for a horseback ride (30minutes for 35$ without a stop at the rim) or you pay the entry fee of 55$ as mentioned before and go to the viewpoints by bus (personal car is not allowed).
We paid the 110$ for my wife and me and went to this tour by bus. This tour was the biggest disapointment in the whole road trip. The view at the Skywalk (if you‘re not doing the Skywalk, which is an extra 25$ and you‘re not allowed to have your own camera or smartphone with you because THEY take your picture and SELL it to you in a print version. If you want it electronically its another extra 50$!!!) The view on the center (which had the perfect location was blocked because of the covered up windows - see the pictures below) was not existing. The answer to the question, why they are covered was: „oh you have to pay if you want to see the view outside.“
The breakfast was not worth the letter B of the word breakfast. Staff was extremely uninteressed and everything you wanted (per example orange juice!) was extra and you had to pay for it. After you had your breakfast you had to clean up your table (in a restaurant with the night >200$ this is just not acceptable).
The cabins were nice and extremely clean.
To sum up, this ranch is not worth the money.
The whole west rim trip was a complete rip off without any special experiences. If you have the time, go to south rim, which is a NPS National Park (entry with national park pass). This park has much more to offer and the views are breathtaking.

A throwback back to a different era...the experience was out of this world. The sunsets and sunrises from this particular part of grand canyon is amazing. But the best part was the bonfire and live country music and the s'mores to go along with it. The stars just seemed so much brighter with no city lights to dim their light. Stay the night. Don't miss out on the entire experience. Though if you are a vegetarian you might want to let them know in advance.

We got here about 5:30 pm - ladies checking in were nice and rooms were nice - however we had to rent two rooms for our family of 4 because they only allow 3 to a room with a queen size bed and futon. Inexpensive so that was ok.
Magic show and horse rides and zip line all stopped by 5pm, which we didn’t know. Ice cream shop wasn’t open at all; they had a volleyball net but no volleyball and cornhole but no bean bags. The campfire and s’mores was really nice. The view was nice. The beds were comfy and everything worked well.
The food situation was awful. My 7 year old son only had an option of ribs or dark meat chicken and sides that were not good. Nothing kids usually eat. Only one option for everyone. Hair in our mashed potatoes. Breakfast was literally the slowest on the planet ever. My son puked up the ribs in the middle of the night and has since had diarrhea ever since, probably going to feel crappy for the end of our vaca.

Everyone we dealt with at Hualapai Ranch was a sweetheart. Unfortunately, they don't really have their act together. For instance, we all woke up at the crack of dawn (literally) to catch the first scheduled but to Skywalk. We waited in the cold for an hour, always being assured that the bus would arrive soon. Thank goodness for everyone's adaptability. When the bus did arrive, 75 minutes late, none of our group was grumpy (well, maybe mildly:-) and we did enjoy finally getting to see what Skywalk was all about.
The rooms and food at Hualapai are VERY basic. If Skywalk is your destination, it's probably the best place to stay overnight, but no place to linger.
