Absolutely beautiful, if a cozy friendly bar sounds good to you here is the place to go. Gorgeous log fire for the cold months that kept us nice and warm. All members of staff were amazing and helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. 10/10 experience I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Really good and friendly staff, always welcoming and a very chilled atmosphere. Lush old London bar vibes, would highly recommend to anyone to go for a night out.

Great pub in Milford haven ,brill location atmosphere is always fab and staff always friendly and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. It’s a must if going for a night out to visit . Completely recommend . Xx

Wow what a night! Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, the staff were friendly so I'd highly recommend for a great night out.

Drinks were fine, Bouncer? Owner? Witnessed him man handling a women and shouting in her face, disgusting……. The girl remained polite the whole time whilst he was grabbing her and swearing at her, trying to create a scene to embarrass her,splitting her up from all her friends and not giving her the chance to speak to her friend stood next to her, both desperately trying to communicate so this girl wouldn’t be alone & stranded on one of the busiest nights of the year, .. whilst taking her out of a dark side alley… as she wasn’t allowed through the main door, merely just to embarrass her and inconvenience her further and again split her up with her friends who were not allowed down this dark alley( weird right?) ……where her continued to shout abuse at her and snatch a drink she paid for out her hand and getting it all over this poor girl…… if he truly believed these people were underage, why would you speak to drunk minors in such a disgusting way. Feel uneasy and unsafe, he was trying to make this girl feel scared.On the way out then another girl was entering the pub, she had a real id but claimed the girl looked ‘weird’ so he wouldn’t be allowing her entry. Come here if you want to be touched by a man and sworn at, as he continued to do this all night people especially targetting girls. This has happened on a few instances now, this guy likes to put young girls in danger, do not go here.

Absolutely horrible man, speaks to his customers like something he’s stepped on, absolutely disgusting. Do not go here, disgrace. The way he treats people is inhumane- obviously some deep rooted trauma going on- needs therapy ASAP

Friendly and obliging. Following morning we had bacon rolls in the bar for breakfast - stunning.Knowledge of whiskies and their originas.

The New Owners have been consistent with their opening times which has resulted in the bar being much busier than it was previously. I have personally witnessed that they have a SIA security guard on every evening they are open and the bar staff check ID of younger looking customers (despite previous and slightly personally slanderous reviews).
The pub reminds me of the ones we used to have when I was younger (I am in my late 30s) lively , friendly with an old school vibe. Just like pubs used to be! Taking on any business when the country is on the brink of recession is brave and I commend these individuals for their success and bravery regardless of experience! The owners are running the pub on top of their full-time jobs and have been reinvesting into updating this historical building. They are extremely hard working and I am looking forward to seeing what they build over time. POB LWC! And thanks for a cracking pint and a great atmosphere.
